Equine Affaire

Equine Affaire is this week! Are you going? Author Ellen Feld will be there and she’ll have all of her books.

If you’ve never been to Equine Affaire and live in the Northeast, you should definitely make an effort to attend this year. The show runs from Thursday, Nov. 7, through Sunday, Nov. 10, and is held at the Eastern States Expo grounds in West Springfield, MA. There is a parking fee and another fee to enter the show. But once inside, it’s horses, horses, horses. There’s a “Breed Pavillion” where different breeds are displayed, a coliseum with clinics and breed demonstrations running every day/all day, as well as a large barn where you can meet sale horses. And don’t forget the shopping. There is a LOT of shopping within the buildings at Equine Affaire.

Ellen will be signing her books within the Taborton Equine Books booth in the Better Living Center on all four days of the expo. For those who have been there before, note that the Taborton booth has been moved this year to the other side of the building. But it’s a big booth, and you can’t miss it. Taborton is the best place to find all your horse books. Along with her books, Ellen will also have a collection of stuffed horses and donkeys (and some zebras!) for sale. There is a limited supply of these “stuffies,” so don’t delay if you want one.

Hope to see you there!
