Willow Bend Publishing was established in 2001 to promote this fun, best-selling horse series. With over 50,000 copies sold to date, these books continue to grow in popularity. We are particularly proud of the fact that every book has won at least one national award. Two books, Blackjack and Frosty, both won the the prestigious 'Children's Choices' award co-sponsored by The International Reading Association and The Children's Book Council. See why 10,000 kids voted these books among their favorites when selecting the winners for the 'Children's Choices' award.

In 2007, we were delighted when Breyer Animal Creations created a model in the likeness of Blackjack, the star of the series. This model is sold with a copy of the award-winning book Blackjack: Dreaming of a Morgan Horse.
