Trail Riding in Summer

Trail riding in the summer can be quite a challenge here in Massachusetts. The bugs are numerous and BIG. And they are vicious. There’s no way to go riding without protecting both yourself and your horse.

Annie loves to trail ride, but not without her bug protection. She wears a fly mask, a neck mask, and also gets front leg “booties” to protect her hooves from the rocky trails. Oh yes, and lots of bug spray.
